Custom Ice is a product of the crossing of two ice paths.

Dave Gagner, a former professional ice hockey player and veteran of 15 years and Brendan Lenko, a professional engineer and one of the experts in the ice rink industry.

Dave recognized the need for kids to skate and play hockey in an open and less structured environment - and to just have fun, while still improving their skills. With high demands on our municipal hockey arenas, this could only be accomplished by offering the industry newer and more creative ways of building ice rinks. Private rinks, park rinks, studio and portable rinks, all offer more time for children to skate with much less of an investment. The end result would enhance our overall quality of life and allow our youth to develop both physically and socially.

At the same time, Brendan's ability to design and build newer and more creative ways of making an ice rink fits perfectly with Dave's vision. Ice can now be installed in many shapes and sizes, on different surfaces, in different climates, and in many different configurations.
